A semi-flexible impression material. Simply mix the alginate powder with water at the recommended ratio for either a pourable or a paste consistency. Totally non-toxic so can be applied by hand and on to skin. Alginate is a one-off moulding material and shrinks as it dries out.

This Alginate is a high grade colour change (chromatic) alginate impression powder, which is totally safe for use on even the newest newborn skin as the alginate's main ingredient is seaweed! It conforms to British safety standards BS 4269 Pt.2:1991 & ISO 1563:1990).
Each 500g pack will create up to 6 hand/foot impression moulds for a newborn baby and 2-3 hand/foot moulds for a toddler aged 3. The impression mould will deteriorate quickly, so please don't make any moulds if you haven't got any plaster to hand.
